On Sunday, November 15, 2020, a tour and post-election conversation, An Artist’s Practice in the Year of Pandemic and Political Cries, was hosted by Wesleyan University’s Center for the Arts. Eiko was joined by DonChristian Jones and Iris McCloughan, who also moderated the discussion.
Eiko has never been content being just a dancer/choreographer, more so in the time of the pandemic and layered revelations of injustice. From the studio, she observes and reaches out to the world, the world full of movements—social, political, natural, and emotional.
