A Body in a Station at Fulton Center (2015)

As part of 2015 River To River Festival, Eiko Otake performed A Body in a Station at the newly-opened Fulton Center, a large subway hub located two blocks from the 9/11 site. Eiko premiered the work at the 30th Street Amtrak Station in Philadelphia in October 2014. In Philadelphia, she performed on four consecutive Fridays for three hours each, making the entire run a twelve-hour opus. At the Fulton Center, Eiko started and ended her one-hour performance on the street outside. Eiko further explored performing in public sites and on streets in the 2016 River To River Festival with her A Body on Wall Street performances.
