This is a full walk-through of Eiko’s video installation in the galleries of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The video also includes how she performs with and within the installation.

Working with Sarah Friedland, Eiko first explored the raw gallery to think about her space choreography. The edited two-frame installation welcomes the visitors whom performer Eiko led in a tour.

Working closely with co-curator Elise Butterfield, Eiko learned about selections and disruptions she could create in a gallery.
